This unique emergency water filter system uses the power of the sun to sterilize pathogens. UV lamps that operates at 185nm-254nm wave length effectively kills Pathogens, Virus, and Bacteria by destroying their DNA. When turned on, the lamp will operate for (2) 15 minute cycles on one charge sterilizing the water filtered through the Gravity Well Emergency Water Filter system.
The UVC lamp is rechargeable with any USB charger, the included solar panel, back up battery pack, or dynamo crank usb charger.
